I'm studying physics, now I wanna be a geoscientist hahaha

hehe physics is cool too! You would probably thrive in geophysics! A great subdiscipline that can also offer lots of field experience.

What kind of fieldback pack do you have/recommend? mine was an old backpack from my dad that will surely not survive my next fieldwork trip
@cadenhowlett Жыл бұрын
I have a Haglofs Roc rescue pack (40L). It is ideal, but sadly they are not made anymore. I prefer something that you can front load (i.e., that unzips on its backside, so you don't have to open the top every time you need something). My buddy Chance has used Hyperlite packs, which are light and durable. You should go to REI or some kind of outdoor store and try on some packs, and think about carrying things like a rock hammer, iPad, etc and what would be most conducive to smooth field access.
