Just a heads up, this video was filmed on Monday BEFORE reset. That means the Oscillation modifier was not active for this. The weapon loadout wouldn't work as well here because scout rifles get nerfed essentially. Just wanted to point that out. Regardless, the build is fun and the strats/tips and enemy spawns remain the same

Should definitely show a run with the modifier on. This run is essentially non helpful since it only applies to before Oscillation went active

And tbf, this isn't a knock on you, it's a knock on this completely ass modifier by Bungie. This is easily one of the worst/Most annoying they've implemented. You can only stack being told how run a GM so many specific ways. "Use these 2 elements if you want a surge" "Now use these specific weapons/verbs to stun these specific champs" "No use these specific weapons and alternate them appropriately so that you don't lose 35% damage on them" This isn't fun Bungie, it's tedious and annoying.

I came to also say the oscillation modifier is the worst I’ve played with. Especially in this GM where the ships alone feel like the most unbalanced enemy’s. It’s do able just not fun.

That modifier is so annoying. Let's punish people for using guns in a game about shooting guns lol. I thought the worm one was creative, brawn felt like a strike so it was fun to mess around with cqc builds, but rip oscillation

I have a really good speed run strategy with this strike. So when I finish the first room and you need to fly to the helipads, I head to the Psion room and I open the menu and click on Exit to Desktop.

Thanks TIZZLE! What's crazy is this is the only GM I ever beat solo. Back when the boss could be fried in the first bubble by solar grenade under the platform. Nice run and absolutely entertaining commentary! 👈💪😎

Didn’t comment on your other channel update video but just wanted to say I’ve really appreciated your videos and finding your channel. I’m much more into interesting theorycrafting that would be considered “off-meta” but works incredibly well compared to the standard “meta builds”. I primarily watch the build videos and try out all your ideas as I think you are a trusted source at this point for super strong builds that isn’t “the standard”. I’ve always thought Glaives were strong, but seeing your videos on them convinced me they are definitely worth learning and running. All this being said, going to miss your build videos for Destiny once you switch games, but I think the way you look at playstyles and craft builds will do well in whatever game you are covering. Will be enjoying all the builds you come up with in Destiny till you stop!

i have no issues w the lenght of the vids, i can put x2 and still not miss much, right? also if i do lose something i can just rewind, nice vid and gl on the next ones! idk if they will be old exotics and no prism but i hope you can pull em out w no problem

GeoMag Chaos is my very favourite pre-Prismatic build, I hope one day it comes to Prismatic as I rarely run anything else any more which is sad :(

Lucky you not having to deal with the oscillation modifier. tried it yesterday and it seemed impossible. having to use an smg or shotgun in this strike just to keep damage with the main weapon is just the worst.

Not even that bad tho, once you get used to it. Furthermore kinetic tremors and jolting feedback damage are not affected by the modifier (watch Chablos vid). Finally you can still run grand overture in the heavy slot. Hits still hard after and literally melts the threshers.

I managed well on my speakers sight warlock with Polaris and an smg but when we got to second phase of final boss we wiped 😂

Another good weapon for threshers is lost signal. Takes less ammo than mountaintop and you can hide around the corner while it does its thing. It might take a little longer but it's safer and more ammo efficient.

I loathe threshers and the carrier ships. Thankfully you can break the gun on the carrier, because that crossfire is the worst. I will say, playing angles with the threshers is the name of the game. The thresher at ~13:40 can be taken care of in relative safety inside the hangar, so long as you take care of the little stuff immediately outside. You can shoot the tail of the thresher while the missiles hit the wall outside. I hate that you can't weaken them like you can the tanks :(

Of course not bc it doesn’t matter. It’s just annoying a day into the reset watching something that isn’t helpful what so ever, wanting it to be helpful bc you’ve been waiting for it. Nothing more nothing less, just annoying. Don’t pin a comment, just say it in the first minute of the video. It’s a waste of time, understand that at least. No offense but come on now.

Tizzle, I’ve been bored using consecration so I’ve been using point contact brace, but I die sometimes due to standing still while charging thunderclap, any tips to circumvent this?
