It is when you multiply each term by the same value. So 3,6,12,24,48,96 etc is a series with a common ratio of 2. Anothewr way of looking at is that any term divided by its previous term will give 2. So 6/3=2, 24,12=2 and so on. Hope that makes sense? Thanks as well for your support

It is the cube root of 27. You are reading it as 3 times root(27)

sir in further maths, If we had 100 ... ... ... ... 800 , and if i was to find the missing terms how would i go about it ? do i have to only find the common ration ?

You couldn't with such little information. You would need the to be given say the number of terms in the sequence or the common ratio.
