This geometric wooden panel can be a tricky build, but a good project can make it way easier.
Between marquetry and gluing, the technique for this modern build leaves a pattern that looks like a Chevron or a Fish Scale, and its kinda like the native Kilim patterns.
This piece was made as a study for a bigger project, and can be applied to any panel project you have. Here we made this with a common Pinus wood, normally used in building sites. We got the pieces cut to a 55centimeters length, so that is the basis for the project we make available down bellow.
The wood coloring process was the simplest one, using water base pigments, and the gildening consists of a layer of gold applied to the surface of the wood.
