옥성기를 만드는 데에 줏대와 비녀장이 쓰인다는 기록만 봤는데 이렇게 생생하게 보게 될 줄이야.. 오늘 제 눈이 호강을 했습니다.

It's nice to see that with so much automation, some things can still be built by hand. Truly wonderful craftsmanship!!! Thank you for putting together this video. Watching from North Carolina, USA.

You can buy a great many things which are hand made if you're prepared to pay for it. Most people buy cheap, mass produced, and often disposable items.

이건 방짜가 아니라 주물유기입니다. 방짜는 망치질로 모양만드는거고

Organic can also mean a gradual process without external intervention, thus home made/ home built, etc.

이게 방짜유기? 장난하나 장인이라는 단어 함부로 붙이지 마세요 그냥 공장 사람들이구만 ㅡㅡ 방짜유기의 뜻과 만드는 방법을 정확히 알고 컨텐츠 만드세요

What's 'organic' about it?
@davidStJuittonАй бұрын
Not organic, brass. a mistaken translation. And using lead to attach the spout to the body? That's a no-no, unless the teapot is intended only for display, not actual use.
@mazlom85583 ай бұрын
All this effort and art, but the pipe of the teapot is soldered, and the first time there is no water in the teapot and it stays on the stove, the pipe will be separated.

Leaving an empty kettle on the hob sounds like operator error, no teapot’s gonna fix that
@DigiLab3603 ай бұрын
There is too much thermal mass in the kettle to allow it to reach soldering temperature on a stove. If you’ve ever soldered copper pipe you will know that you need to put a lot of localized and high heat into a joint to get the solder to flow.

Why "organic"? It's just a factory.

Organic: relating to or derived from living matter. Metal isn't organic.

A simple but nice kettle ruined completely by the ugly poorly fitting cross head screw, attention to detail is everything.
@rafiqkatana3 ай бұрын
I don't see the "organic" part of it. It's all cut back on a lathe and then buffed and polished and then Philips head screws were used to hold the handle on. Any *beauty* this kettle once had, the organic beauty, is long gone and forgotten. It was kind of sad watching this process. I wouldn't want one. Tragic.

@mechanicalcenturyusa I was referring to the inherent organic beauty that Artisans of the past would instill into whatever it was they made. These people are the descendants of those in what is referred to as the "Cradle of Civilization". Dating back from 3300BCE.
