...That is what Geopolitical Strategist Peter Zeihan predicts will happen to China.
Peter is the author of 4 books, and what he had to share with me in this interview was very intellectually stimulating. You'll want to hear his predictions on the world's state for the next 100 years, specifically involving China and Russia.

Hey I hear ya. Intellect takes a number of different expressions. Grant’s intellect in REI obliterates Peter’s ability. Grant chose to interview a top tier expert in a field that, for many people, is just emerging… so yea a clear gap of intellect in that field is obvious.

In terms of geopolitics, Grant doesn’t have a clue. In fact, if you put a World map in front of Grant, he couldn’t identify the majority of the former Soviet countries by name. What a moron. Grant is MAGA brain at work or not working.

This was fun! PZ speaking to some random dude on the street in a black hoodie. Random dude on the street in a black hoodie actually trying to understand and being willing to ask questions that show ignorance, so he can understand. And PZ answering them honestly and humbly, without condescension. As a huge Ukraine supporter, I appreciated Grant's questions about the funding. Those seem to be the usual attitudes and questions people have on that topic. And Peter correctly answering them. I was also imagining Grant's brain exploding when Peter gave the numbers of all the empty condos in China😂

Peter is right on India that India needs to build for India. Most Indian companies are actually focusing on the customer base for India. The perspective that most miss is the fact that the India market is bigger than all of North America and Europe combined! How can anyone ignore that and look outside? Additionally, most Indian companies are building for India with a view to export once they cater to Indian consumers. This approach insulates them from the craziness of the global market while making them ready to compete in the global market. The potential in India is too huge to already start looking outside. The initiative is called ‘build in India for the world’. The Western template of gauging India simply doesn’t work.

China is about to get merked really freak'n hard. Stuff is going on as we speak. Just look outside your window. All you have to do is look outside. Politicians and military officials are disappearing. The Chinese elite are fleeing China and dumping their money outside the country. Apple pulled out of China and lost over $200,000,000,000. Strange economic problems are happening in the housing markets. There's military communication breakdown--no military cohesion. China is getting desperate in the oceans. And the like. This damn mess is right there. It's there for people to see--whether Zeihan is there or not. Milla Jovovich's Alice from Resident Evil One: *It's right there on the platform! IT'S RIGHT THERE!* Bottom line: China is getting really weird right now. Just like the rest of the world is getting weird (wars breaking out on different parts of the earth anybody?). And it's terrifying. And the funny part is? Americans are just starting to see that something is really wrong with China and they're just starting to see this NOW. It’ll eventually taper off as Mexico becomes more economically stronger (which Mexican immigration has..we are mostly getting Venezuelan and Central American immigrants). I guess if you push the predictions out further I know that his former employer stratfor predict conflict between the us and Mexico and that having a border population of Mexican nationals and first/second generation Americans that does pool together when settling in the US it makes assimilation harder and having strong familial ties with Mexico may possibly cause issues. I doo ok my know if that prediction still stands, it was circa 2008-11 sometime

I actually see it raising inflation, its the only thing that makes sense. Lets get rid of the US debt by spending.. stay with me. If we have more people buying less goods the price of those goods will therefore, increase. ( basic supply & demand rules, right?) If we add a million or so new citizens that are paying taxes, buying homes etc, then those values will also increase. New bussiness, new jobs etc.. therefore prices are due to increase instead of decrease no matter what the Fed does. Lets hope we can teach our new citizens though the American way and rule systems, like paying taxes. Historically this hasnt worked out well for our competetors. It causes huge civil discourse no matter the value.
