In my opinion Böhm is one of the most underrated Composers of the north-german baroque. I love his magnificent Partitas. Maybe I'll record one of them. 😇

I agree! Great rendition Niklas and also, well played in the correct tempo! Perfect! Bohm is way underrated for a composer and I really like that you posted this up. Zoom_1012's comment is exactly right! These days, nobody seems to perform Bohm's work! For me, what is interesting about Bohm's work is that firstly, Bohm was part of that 'Northern German' baroque - e.g. Buxtehude..BUT, Bohm seemed to be a lead into the post Baroque era! Niklas...brilliant! ... well played and another example of playing to the right tempo for the time. Thanks!

Not sure I agree about the tempo, as he is at 4min 8sec, and most other performances are well over 5 mins. There is a climax in this piece shortly before the end, and it is lost when there isn't time for the phrases to play out. That said, it's a nice organ with a lovely tremulant. Perhaps it's the acoustics in the room that require a faster tempo.

Sorry, but no. The tempo is too fast, and he skipped a bunch of notes and many of the ornaments. On the positive side, he has very good finger technique and pedal technique. And the solo stop and the tremulant are wonderful.
