What a piece! Handel really saw God as he claimed. This is heavenly. The counterpoint and the colouratura. I became emotional when I heard "Glory and honor are before Him, power and blessing are in His sanctuary." This performance brings the performer and listener into the same realm of spiritual ecstasy as the composer. I am blessed.

Love Handel's choral music but this performance is brilliant and imho proves that a well trained boy singer can hold his own against anyone and this lad can. All the soloists are excellent, thanks for this video.

Daniel Krämer is the boy soprano that impressed several people in the comments. This shows an insurmountable advantage German boys choirs have over the most famous British ones. Boys in Germany are allowed to sing soprano or alto until their voices change not matter how old they are. Traditionally, British choirs kick the boys out at the end of 8th grade whether their voices have changed or not. Statisically of course, most boys voice will have changed or will be soon be changing around then, but there are always some boys who last longer than that. In this case, Daniel was around 15 here and lasted until shortly before his 16th birthday.
