I'm currently working on this piece. Very interested to see how you're doing it. Clearly I should think about using more rubato once I've gotten the basics down a bit better. And I was wondering what to do with the adagio allegro instruction. First slow, then the echo is fast. That makes sense. It is very nice to be able to hear someone much better than I am play something I'm learning. Thank you.

Is it a tenor recorder? I tried practicing simultaneously with my alto recorder but the pitch felt different.

This is an alto in 415Hz, which brings it a semitone lower compared to your 440Hz instrument.

Terrific. What got me excited was I play this piece on Mollenhauer tenor and now close to the result of your performance. Self taught, practice and no inspiration from others. I note your interpretation of the rapid triplet section. Wish I could play with musicians of your calibre than the mediocre pensioner amateurs that seem to be the mainstay of recorder groups.

Transposed because Not for altblockflöte….but traversa… There are 12 others fantaisies for violin or block flöte. Nicely done anyway. But it’s hard to play pianissimo with that flûte.

Schönes Instrument. Die Interpretation gefällt mir nicht. Die schnellen Passagen sind einfach nur gespielt aber nicht musiziert. Menuette sind Tanzstücke und gehören rhythmisch und im Tempo auch so gespielt. Rubato ist da nicht angesagt.
