Nothing in this world that anyone could possibly dislike about this man. Just the perfect, consummate human being.

He really seemed to be a kind human being. When he talks about Gracie his facial expressions are so honest . As if there were no cameras around

George Burns was 83 year's old in this Interviewed in 1979, he turned 90 in 1986 and died at age 100 in 1996) he knew that he was gonna live to 100. He outlived his wife and one child and his own doctors and siblings and course his parents and his best friend. He smoked 13 cigars a day since he 14 years old and drank martini every day. And he wasn't a gym rat who ate healthy and didn't smoke or drank...He smoked and drank and still made it to 100 years old. What a legendary life.

That being said, he famously ate very healthily and had an exercise regime. Watch “George Burns - His Wit and Wisdom” he gives a whole run through of his routine

He said for years that he was going to play Vegas for his 100th birthday. Sadly, although he made it to 100, his health was too poor to fulfil that promise.

I was 11 in 1979. I had visited California the year before in April 78. It was such a sensational holiday for a boy from Wales 🏴. He looked so well and healthy for an 83 year old. Beautiful skin.

Can't believe Barbara is 50 here. She looks pretty good here in my opinion.

I talk to them about their homework. :D I take it this is from 79, if he was 83 at the time.

As much as I love George and Gracie why is it there is never a negative word said? nobody is perfect?
@JRobbySh6 жыл бұрын
Well, Gracie is in heaven, and therefore perfect. All the other stuff has been burned away.

Michell Weaver well I think when you lose someone you love you tend to remember and miss all the good things

I think that period was maybe more graceful than now, it was uncouth to say anything bad about anyone on a public platform so people kept it private. I didn’t grow up in that time so I’m just guessing but that’s how it seems.

Why does she suddenly turn British at points during this interview?

Not a fan of hers. But here she is a girl talking to a beloved uncle. He seems to have been lovely man.
@junegiovanni64755 жыл бұрын
Because she half british, her mother is british and her father is a yankee...That is how she always talks, she never changed...you must be young because thats how she always talks. She was mimicked on SNL, The late great Gilda Ragner who portrayed her on Saturday Night Live. Thats her signture voice.
