Befor George Carl start comic career he performed in circus as jockey - acrobat on horse and very successful, but due multiple injuries he was forced to do something els. That is how we got The Great comic George Carl !!!

He's rather like Mr Bean in that some people find him very funny but others think he is annoying, as reflected in the comments. I thought he was clever and funny but he went on a bit too long - the harmonica playing would have been a good tragi-comic ending if he showed he could really play.
