Stunning tanks with a superb build quality,it’s just that internal filter,even though it’s great quality,a tank of such beauty shouldn’t have a filter on show.

Completely agree. This is a beautifully made aquarium and cabinet and the lights are of high-quality. However,I am in the process of breaking down my Styline 85 in order to re-aquascape and have got myself over by a master 350 Thermo to replace the internal filter. I have found this filter disappointing, not least as the sponges get clogged quickly and the flow is impaired as a result, with all the problems that causes. Something to bear in mind is that the cabinet is surprisingly tall. I knew this in advance and it worked for my location, but those who prefer something lower might like the larger Styleline 125 with its lower cabinet.

@Chris Beestin Hi Chris, did you ever get a reply to this? I swapped the white board for a foam mat but still a bit uncomfortable that the whole front edge is unsupported?

Amazing scape and beautiful aquarium, I’ve not yet observed the tank in person but from the pictures I have seen does it have a front overhang on the tank Straight under the door? If so how have Oase made it safe?

Does the tank come with foam to place between the stand and the tank, saw a video and it looked like it contained a sheet of hardboard surely that’s not right

Besides mini landscape rocks they are also called Seiryu rocks. Kind regards.

With this sort of soil build, can you still vacuum up fish poo? I currently have a very basic gravel tank but want to move to a tank like this.

I have decided to re-Scape my Styleline 85 (please see my other comment) using Tropica substrate with a Dennerle quartz gravel. I’m hopeful that some of the faster growing plants e.g. Quadricostatus, used will work whilst dosing regularly Tropica premium fertiliser and adding (inline) CO2 injection. We’ll see!
