I miss this kind of Republican Party. Back when they and Democrats may not always see eye to eye, but they always believed they can work stuff out together and stay unified for the sake of the country’s democracy and laws and constitution. Sad this won’t be coming back.

If you look at his resume, he expanded voting rights, had a tremendous foreign policy, and paved the way for Americans with disabilities to gain employment. He was an American hero and he’s sorely missed. RIP President Bush ❤

We should listen closely to this speech in a time where the whole world seems to evolve backwards in terms of freedom of speech, respect and fairness amongst political opponents. We seem to live in a world of hysteria where people became over reactive to any diverting opinion. We should use historical documents as this to figure out how to move again towards a more positive and forward looking attitude.
