George Horne Visits His Boyhood Club | Where It All Started

During a training camp in St Andrews earlier this year, Scotland Scrum Half George Horne returned to his boyhood club, Howe of Fife RFC, to reminisce with some of his old coaches and gift them one of his capped jerseys for the clubhouse.

Loved watching that. Great to see the interaction with the club. Superb question and answers, which painted a picture of what it is like growing up playing rugby. George's enthusiasm is clear to see, smiling as he related some of his experiences. He is a great ambassador. He has a can do attitude, so positive, so important for any team. Well done George keep playing and enjoying your rugby, you inspire all of us. What else would I have liked to have seen? George inter acting with some of the current club players. He is now a role model. May be the Primary 3's or any of the later players. I know he would inspire them, may be one or two to go on and emulate him. Brilliant documentary please keep them coming. I learnt loads from it. Thank you.

I remember getting kept in "grounded" and on a black and white portable in my bedroom "in the huff haha" watched my first rugby match and scotland beat England for the grand slam 😮,when I saw George for the first time,well it was the same as Bobby firmino's first game for Liverpool,absolute top class

George is a class 9 and can kick a fair conversion too I'd like to see more of him for Scotland.
