The King of Countrypolitan. He never wore a hat, never had a beard, he was clean cut, dignified, and a proud Texan. Yeah he might've been a drunk who embarrassed his child and wife once in a while ( so have you and I.....lol), but he was a good man, and the greatest ever. I'm more into fast honk tonk country but George Jones style is so cool. It's authentic and pure.

I listened to this album two days ago and here I am again today 9/9/2022. I lost 3 family members 😢 within the past six months, so this type of music soothes my heart. One was my eldest daughter, another was my xhusband. Gospel songs are too painful to hear right now. Thanks to The Jones family for the songs George sings. So beautifully sung ♥ his voice.
