Anybody else thought this song was done by a group of Puerto Ricans recording in their basement in the Bronx in the 1980's??!! My mind is so blown right now! This was the background music to my childhood in the early 80's...learning how to breakdance!!! Go head George...living in 2020 back in the 1980's.

The ULTIMATE BREAKDANCE SONG! I'm getting chills.. I grew up in Detroit this song came out when I was 8 years old. This band is performing in front of the wrong crowd. There would have been people breakdancing absolutely over the entire place..

I remember hearing this for the first time. Brings back some fond memories. I was 11 or 12 and I would spend the weekends at my Grandparents. Friday and Saturday nights there were some amazing landmark radio shows that were going on there. Live DJing, hearing records cut up on air, hearing special rhymes and skits that were made specifically for those shows. And on Kiss FM you had Kool DJ Red Alert and on WBLS you had Marley Marl. These shows were so important to us and so hot in New York City that I used to have a tape in and you could hear on all my tapes, when there was a commercial break on Red’s show, I used to tune the radio into WBLS and try to catch a bit of Mister Magic’s show and then tune it back down, because you didn’t want to miss a second because there was always something happening. Anyway, this song was one of those "Something happenings".

My grandbrother got this piece on a vinyl? 😄He flashed up the full house with this crazy sounds. BUT it was still revolution of the 80s, in da house, in da clubs, on da streets anyplace. All of the youth were Real amused to confuse the elder gen and younger, too. End of it, they assimilate the younger peoples, like me and awesome flashmobed the hole world repeatin' phrases like "din dada din dudu" or "rrrrrrrrrrrrdada rrrrrdada rrrrrdada da da da" and else.... Everywhere. In the train, the bus, the school, the family, the uncles and aunts, the friends, in the car, on the bike, there was no place to hide It was the hot time of breakdancing the streets during playing ghettoblasters (tapedeck players powered by batteries) and the timeghost of neon & blacklights every party, was going on.
