I am just stunned at how each of the Seinfeld actors made their characters seem so real. George wasn't at his finest here. The George I think I know would have driven up a driveway to a house with no lights on, found a way in, and started showing them around. And if the occupants showed up, perhaps having been awoken by the noise, he would have yelled "trespassers in the house!" and pushed the Ross's back outside and into the car.

Fully agree. The fact that George surrenders so easily can only be explained by the writers running out of time in the episode. It’s not canon. The true George would have easily stretched this arc into a film trilogy of petty deception.
