Here after Paul Rodriguez called George out on Felipe Esparza's podcast! I was thinking bad about Paul for what he supposedly said to George! But hearing Paul on the verge of tears telling his side, I honestly lost a lil respect for George! You could hear in Paul's voice how hurt and disappointed he is with George! I do think Willy Barcena is right, Latino comics need to do a better job of helping one another in the business. George Lopez seems to harbor a lot of grudges about everyone sounds to me like he has always had tons of insecurities about himself. This is one of your best episodes by far, guys. Wow, Willie was a great guest. I actually was "introduced" to him via Tik Tok a few months ago when I saw a clip of his stand-up. I was ROFL at the end. This episode was really multi-layered, crossing different subjects. I thought it was ballsy of him to bring up the topic of Latino comics as George was rising in fame. There was actually a filmed tour in 2003 costarring 3 Latino comics - Carlos Mencia (yes, I know, George's enemy - and totally understandably so), the late Freddy Soto, and Pablo Francisco, called "The Three Amigos". At the time, as a comedy fan and Latino, I thought man, that was fun to watch on the screen. I do hope Gil ends up inviting George and Willie to perform on the stage at the VFW once he receives the green light.
