The only thing that bothers me more about this is that in cases like this, Angie doesn't support George because all she cares about is image and not being on the spotlight on negative things. Even if they're right. Cuz notice that she told him to give Debbie the check instead of being there with him to prove a point. Or how she told George to write the check cuz she doesn't want to ruin Max's reputation and people call him poor.

Watching this episode again makes me wonder about a lot of things. Like if every family has to pay off whatever candy they didn’t sell then how much or how little candy did the other families sell before having to give that Karen a check? Plus this might be a race thing because looking at this alone there’s more white people than I see POC not counting the Lopez’s so you can see why the PTA parents went around believing that a Hispanic family is too poor to pay.
