THIS was my guitar hero growing up. Eddie was cool, Page, Hendrix and Gilmour are all right there...but Lynch is the one who really made me want to play. He has some of the best solo's ever recorded and his rhythm work is supreme. Clean, articulate and a vibe all his own. Don't believe me? Just listen to the guitar work on Lightning Strikes Again. Or It's Not Love. Matter of fact, I think I will head there right now to get some inspiration....

I honestly believe George when he says “What’s a progression?” and “I don’t know chords.” It just shows the greatness of George’s ear and creative instincts. Unlike so many players on KZbin who explain every aspect of their playing based on chord shapes and music theory, George just hears the music and plays it with a a God-given organic style that makes sense to him musically. One of my favorite players for sure.
