My dog was stolen and it's something you don't forget. I even offered a reward and a woman called saying she was from pet s mart, and that they called the area for any sighting, and took a credit card no. I was so desperate to have her back. I call the company later and they say they have no such service. She didn't use the card or charge it, I guess her conscience could see how desperate I was. I never got Pudge back and she had the chip.

My mother knew the Kelly family and she told me stories about George Kelly known as machine gun Kelly. Yes he was a bootlegger and was not a hardened criminal. His biggest mistake was when he met kathryn. She was a women who wanted everything and nagged him relentlessly and George being an easy going person listen to her. It was Katherine's idea for the kidnapping. I was born in 1935 and heard stories from other people and told me the same thing how she bullied him. George was happy making moonshine that's what some people did in Tennessee during the depression to make a living.

For what it is worth: Our local story begins with the sounds of rapid (machine gun) fire outside of Rosman, North Carolina. Located in western NC, Rosman, athletes time was an isolated, lightly populated community. The easily recognized sound of machine gunfire was reported to the local sheriff. A pose was assembled and the cabin area where the sounds originated was surrounded, a gunfight ensued in which Kelly was wounded. Unfortunately, he and his gang escaped. Thus, Kelly received the wound that resulted in his arrest inTennessee. The sheriff later visited Kelly in prison, disclosed to Kelly his participation the raid that wounded him. In response, Kelly told him that upon his release from prison, he would kill him. That, of course, never came to pass. I am personally acquainted with a grandson of the sheriff. Knowing the grandson to be a truthful person, I believe that he believes the story. L
