I don't like him. He had an incredibly beautiful voice, and in my opinion he was one of the greatest male vocalists of all time (vocal performance is what you do with your voice, not the voice itself). I give him the highest marks for his gifts (voice) and his talent (vocals), but I never felt that he was a good person. I hope that I'm wrong.

@@Kurt77777 you don’t know how much money he donated to charities
@Kurt777772 жыл бұрын
@@ricardoe4215 Do you know? Do you know the total dollar amount? My understanding is that he was very philanthropic and frequently donated anonymously. Of course, it couldn't have been completely anonymous if others knew about it, but apparently he wouldn't hold a news conference bragging about his most recent donation or make a big deal about it. I think that that's great. On the extremely rare occasion that Obama would visit injured soldiers in the hospital, he made sure the media was there to film it. President Bush frequently visited wounded soldiers and did so without informing the press. I don't like President Bush, but he's a much better person than Obama. Donating lots of money especially anonymously is a very good thing if the causes you are supporting are good, but George Michael just had too many negatives for me to like him or see him as a good person. That doesn't take away from the fact that he had a beautiful voice and was one of the best male vocalists of the 20th century.

@@Kurt77777 do you know what got him do the bad you mention? He was a very sensitive person so it was very difficult for him to cope up with everything he had to deal with. How would you behave if you had to watch your soulmate suffer and die just within 2 years of finding true love specially after looking for until you are 27 years and then your beloved mother suffer and die due to cancer, you lose a law suit against your recording company becos they want you to work as their slave, being world's best selling artist still hate that celebrity lifestyle and decide to take a step back, known as world's hottest sex symbol but struggling with your own sexuality? I don't blame GM for the things he did cos he acted as a responsible person until he had to deal with all that by his early thirties and was under medication for severe depression. Listen to his song 'fast love' where he says how he became vulnerable after losing his partner, his true love. He could never overcome the pain and void of losing his true love and his mother and media always tortured him from the beginning. Actuallt media had a huge part to play in his depression

When he was younger he said that someone pointed out to him that when he sang this song, he never looked at the audience and he knew that was because it was so personal and honest and each time he sang it, he remembered the feelings he had when he wrote it - which was heartbreak. He looks particularly sad in this version - the most beautiful, terribly sad song I've ever heard.

This song brings me to tears every time. George is so vulnerable with his emotions - I am amazed - something rare in male artists. It makes me feel connected to him. I love this live version to see how it brings him back to the time and feelings. James Corden said it best "You feel like he’s got a layer or two of skin missing. Like he bruises easier and because of that, he can write these amazing songs".

We would have waited or understand you putting you first in order to take care of yourself. You gave the world more then enough to last a life time. So here you see him sitting on stage singing with his incredible vocals having the hot stage lights shining in his face making him hot and uncomfortable. That's also why he's squinting. This performance is from his concert in Brussels on the 11. 9. 2012, so only 2 days after he performed in the Palais Garnier Opera House in Paris which was recorded for Television. No, he wasn't ill here. Maybe a little tired and exhausted. Watch this performance, from his last concert of Symphonica in London on the 17.10. 2012. It was just over a month after and he looked and performed fine. 💕 kzbin.info/www/bejne/pKbUYnyjnpyAmKM
