Oh you need to know that George arranged, produced and played instruments on all of his songs. He was a master at a young age. Listen to the WHAM song "Everything She Wants" and you will see just how amazing he was at a very early age. He wrote Careless Whisper on a bus when he was 17. Hard to believe but true. He has so, so many great songs and I hate that everyone stops at Careless Whisper or Wake Me Up Before You Go Go. I just came across George's song "You Know That I Want To". Talk about a sexy, jazzy chill vibe, man it is good! George, we miss you but hope you are in heaven with Anselmo, your mum Lesley, and little sis Melanie and that you are at peace.

George wrote the song when he was 17 years old. During a cinema programm, George thinks about his girlfriends and how easy it is to hurt them with a thoughtless comment. This is how he comes up with the lyrics to "CARELeSS WHISPER" On his way home in the bus, he has the idea for the mind-blowing sax melody. He doesn't know that he is writing a world hit. He records the song with Andrew and they play it at a party. Everyone is thrilled and the cassette with "careless whisper, Club Tropicana and Bad Boys" ends up at a record company 1981.The first record company said, "NO THANKS".

A Different Corner(my personal fave song, ever, by any artist) Jesus To A Child (written about his partner that died from AIDS related complications, his entire album, Older, is dedicated to him) One More Try Fast Love (If possible watch video, it's amazing) Freedom 90 (Video is STUNNING! TOP models of 90's featured. It's an autobiographical song, watch his video for Faith first and at least one Wham! video to put the lyrics into better context) Monkey Praying For Time Spinning The Wheel, great jazzy number Somebody To Love (from the Freddie Mercury tribute concert. He KILLED it. ) Outside (Personally love this one just for the sheer balls shown by making a song about his own arrest) White Light (Which to be honest, since his death, breaks my heart every single time, as does Last Christmas) Waiting For That Day Older Heal The Pain I Knew You Were Waiting (For Me) his duet with Aretha Franklin. (He was a powerful duet partner. He knew how to let the others shine, from Whitney Houston, Mary J Blige, Stevie Wonder, Paul McCartney, the list is impressive.) ...ummm, basically his entire catalogue.
