This is a phenomenal song like all of george michael songs. I’m a huge, huge fan of his. His music accompanied me from the time I was a young teenager until today. His music has a lot of meaning for me and I’m so happy you reacted to him. The man sold 125 million records in his lifetime and won countless, countless awards. Not to mention that he was very respected from his fellow musicians. He did many duets that are over the top Fantastic. Check out the ones with Whitney, Mary, J, Aretha, Stevie Wonder, Elton John, Tony Bennett, Lisa Stansfield, Tony, Burke, Queen and so many more!!!

The way I always think of the video is, the woman is a supermodel. Cab driver George picks her up as a fare one time, and becomes obsessed with her and starts following her, stalking her, I guess? When you see them kissing and in bed etc, it's actually all in his imagination, they are not together in reality at all. That's my take on it anyway! :-)

Lol I totally love how you are dissecting the video to understand what it's about!! Awesome! Other reactors and patrons saw it as perverted or even said it was about pedophilia like he was talking to a child...very immature and disturbing takes on this video. Hi, This is the first time I've seen your channel. It's obvious what you know of George you like. George believed that great music would last If he left It up to the listener to interpret the music for themselves, & he did just that. I've found It so enticing that you could listen to a song at any given time & It could mean sometime different to you. That's made him so relatable. He wrote with honesty & his heart. What he was going through at that time in his life. He was real, human, & let be known through his music. Music was his baby, he lived for It. George wrote, sang, arranged, produced, directed, & at times played his own music during recording. That was more the early days of his solo career that I'm aware of. Getting to know George, and what he went through & felt at that time helps to bring even more meaning to his music. So, If interested, take the time, It's worth Its weight in Gold. My suggestion for you would be, Jeuas there are only 30+ years to reflect from but to pick one for starts would be YOU KNOW THAT I WANT TO, & upbeat would be FREEDOM 90. It a good to reflect on these days! And one he performed since he'd written right from the beginning through his last concert tour. Remember the part where he says love can be mistaken for a crime? I believe he was romanticizing being with her & in his mind, this is what he wanted to be for her. This is why I meant that his music was left up to the listener, It could go anywhere. That's George, unique on his own! What more can I say, everlasting love!
