I will always be a huge fan of George and Joan. They both had such huge hearts but so many people didn’t get their humor or honesty. As a comedian, Joan accepted she was a target but made fun of herself as much as others and I admired her even more after meeting her before an appearance where she talked about coping and survival. George was probably the most honest when talking about himself as any other celebrity at that time when the public wasn’t kind or accepting of gay artists.

GM deserved better than the public and British press gave him. Especially about his size/weight. Looking at this Joan Rivers segment is enlightening and I learned that British people were cruel assholes in general. George Michael had a small to medium frame; something you can't change no matter what it genetics 🧬. Such a cutie pie!! Handsome man!

I think while George was playing the straight role he was superficial and false. We started to see George had appeal when he came out as a gay man. Onwards from coming out as gay George was much more himself and so much more genuine. Love you George. You are the best act I have ever seen.
