I agree with you all both are fantastic at this ballad but I must admit g michael is better at it live as boy George tends argue a lot on stage with his keyboard player for being to overpowering & then he tends to get a little irate at times on stage which I think puts a bit of an atmosphere of tension among certain people but apart from that both are great singer songwriters & performers nobody can take that away from these guys!

You're correct, comparing this live amateur recorded version to CC's studio version, this isn't as good. But, I just listened to a similar quality version of Boy live & GM is far better! Boy was always known as a studio artist (and one of the BEST ever, which is an honor regardless!), but George live is sublime. I have seen him & his voice is pure & powerful.
