I love listening to them both talk. Andrew's voice sounds so much the same... he was always so chil. George "pilotizum" and then he laughs at himself. He was just so deliciously cute. What a shame, what a loss to humanity... A loss to the music industry is a given. Rest in peace my dear George. We're still listening, watching and singing with you and we always will be ❤. Thanks Andrew for giving George the confidence to shine and the image to create from yourself.

if george hadn't smoked so much he might as well have carried on with the same voice throughout his life 💔 ofc he had a beautiful voice during his adulthood but he couldn’t hit some notes because of his addictions

Loved when Andrew said his mother was a teacher and George said she teaches young pop stars. It was nice to hear George say his mother was so proud of him and pinched his cheeks. Such a level headed down-to-earth young man. Love his sense of humor. He was one very special person. Thanks for posting their interview.

They were young but very mature and knew exactly what they wanted. They had old souls at very young age. One of the greatest groups and George went on to be one of the greatest artist ever. His voice was undeniable. He had it all good looks, talent and great personality. Thank you Andrew and George for giving us Wham and great music. RIP George, you’ll never be forgotten😁

April Dannette no.... 7:25 he was comparing how comfortable he had become at performing on stage in Wham! vs how he felt as a DJ in his fathers restaurant. But he DID say that he (on stage with Wham!) had to pretend he was someone he was not.

I've seen some pics of him when his eyes were blue - he wore contact lenses so he must've got the coloured ones. I wear lenses too but I've never been able to afford the coloured ones. They looked really good on him. But then everything looked good on him. Wonderful man, and so is sweet Andrew. Bless them both.

He say in this that he doesn't remember what he did before he fell in love with music before age 7, but in the 90s and 2000s he said he was obsessed with bugs in the grassy area near his house and then he hit his head and suddenly he was obsessed with music.
@deborahdeveroux59654 жыл бұрын
J R . Yes he did say that didn't he I was thinking the same thing .obsessed with bugs waited till early morning to collect them the bottom of the garden.then aged 8 he had a accident at school and split his head open and the got obsessed with music.then wasn't obsessed with bugs anymore in one interview he said he picked a recorder at school he hated it his parents said he has to play it.u started so u finish he didn't mention that when Andrew was asked about playing the piano strange love u george

He may have been nervous before the performances, but it didn't show because he was born to be on stage. On stage and in front of 100,000 people, he forgot that he should be nervous. He was the music itself and still is today!

George sounds like a much more industrious person than Andrew. lol Shirley said before they became famous they both used get on Andrews case because he was so lazy.

Poor Andrew, he always seemed very laid back! He still seems to have that serene sunny tempered nature. Both he and George were si lovely, always so polite to interviewer, even when the interviewer e rude, and they never boasted or put on airs. Lovely lovely men.

So if Andrew took piano lessons for 2-3 years when he was 5 to 7 or 8, I wonder why he didn't play the keyboard during wham. It would have give him and them more credibility.
@aprildannette38164 жыл бұрын
JR Because he wanted to do guitar they have the credibility they never cared about the haters thats what i love about them they did what they wanted
@gwenhafford41123 жыл бұрын
Plus with guitar, Andrew was able to be out front and move around more. Keyboards would have put him more in the background.

George here talks about wanting to be a pop star at a super young age - younger than Andrew was and people still say that if it hadn't been for Andrew, we wouldn't have had George Michael - something that has always struck as so supremely absurd because people just bought that ridiculous myth about Wham! Where did people think all that insane talent and love of music of George was going to go? It might have happened a bit differently - but, really - he would have made it happen.

It was at a time in Britain when millions of people were unemployed - it was really hard to get a job even if you'd got a university degree, so a 17 year old without A Levels would've found it tough. Also, he and George wanted to be pop stars, so I think he was happy being on the dole (welfare) while they wrote songs and so on. George's parents - well his dad - felt strongly that young people should do any work no matter how menial, so I think that's why George had jobs.
@LeeThroughАй бұрын
Lazy - George worked a bunch of jobs and was never on the dole.
