George is amazing! I had the chance to ride one of his clinics last October and I learned so much in those 3 days! It was nerve racking at first because it was at a big trade show with like a hundred people watching. :)

I Kyle Michael Carbone ADORE George Morris. What a phenominal person. So honest. It's so sad when I see people say he's mean. Honesty is his game. Listen, Focus and take it in. Make excuses and you've wasted your time and his and will not get far. He is the best! I hope to one day meet George Morris! Hopefully even ride infront of him!

hes amazing my mom was cleaning stalls at a stable a while ago and he was giving a clinic and she got to meet him"!right now i am reading his book Hunter Seat Equitation and all ready the first chapter has helped me tons !

I have this DVD and it is amazing! My trainer was trained by george morris' trainer the same time as george was and I must say, my trainer and Mr. Morris sound exactly the same, its a bit weird at times when watching this video :PP

these are all great, but I'd really like to see George Morris do some clinics with those who may be just as talented but with not as lush looking horses, maybe a thoroughbred clinic, or come to more local towns, with riders who may not have the money to travel and do this.. it'd be cool to see him lower his price for a few special locations to give other just as talented yet less fortunate riders the opportunity to train with him

yep! lol, the trainers like George Morris are tough, but it's worth every harsh word he says because ya learn from it! I train with someone similar to George Morris except he does mainly dressage (but he does teach some jumping) and he produces brilliant students but sometimes you kinda have to suck up his critiscism... :)

@Christian Micah. Buy his book "Hunter Seat Equitation", find a good instructor and follow the book chapter by chapter. You will get the same, if not better result. I tried his clinics once with my horse. He was great, but his teaching style was too 'acerbic' for us, my horse and I. There is another guy whose principles you should follow closely. Bertalan de Nemethy. His style is even better that GM. Even more old school and supremely elegant. Buy his book too!

lol usually instructors that are really hard on you are going to teach you so much more. Hes rough and may seem mean but youll walk away with worlds of improvement and knowledge

YA! He was giving a clinic at a show I was competing at but I missed it :( ( I am gonna kill my mother for making me miss it -_-) I heard he was a nightmare, lol, they said he was an arrogent a--hole o_O but no matter what he is a damn good rider/trainer. Thanx for posting the vid, I learned a lot in 7 minutes. p.s. nice breeches george lol, DONT TELL HIM I SAID THAT!

I would love to ride in front of him, even if he is "nasty" like some people say. I would rather be critiscised in a very harsh way and learn from it than be babied and not learn from my mistakes!

please, show some decent human respect. keep your crude thoughts to yourself and pay attention to his knowledge of riding. You must not know much about riding because if you did the sport as well as horses would have taught you to respect others and their horses. What a shame, honestly.
