he doesn't seem that mean?

I would not say he's mean, however he's very direct and blunt. His lack of negative commentary here is because she's an amazing rider, and improves with his advice almost immediately. Watch some other videos people have uploaded here, and you'll see him showing his more widely known commentary.

very nice. at the end, turning to the right, though I could be wrong, it looks as if u r looking down to see if ur mount is on the correct lead. for the level of rider u r, u shouldn't have to look to see if u r on the correct lead, u should be able to feel it. as a trainer, ive seen this action taught to beginners on figuring out what lead your mount is on and then shortly after, put on a lunge line to learn how to feel it. I use this technique w/ my beginners too. the problem is that it doesn't get corrected and the student makes a bad habit of it cause the trainer, it seems, doesn't really seem to care and focuses on the "fun stuff" like getting to the jumping. overall, I enjoyed it tremendously and loved how u and your mount stayed at a steady pace consistently.
