You can't block a defenseless players..that's literally line 1 of the Hines ward rule. If he moves off ...at that angle he would've smacked the safety and that would've been a flag. You can't abruptly go from one player to another unless he's like right in front of you

This is genius coaching or genius by Pickens himself. This should be a regular teaching, because db’s are already moving backwards and often times on theirs heels, but really the heels don’t matter. The only thing a Corner is worried about is the pass and then he reacts to everything else. If recievers did this more often it would really mess with the DB’s and add a new deminsion to the double move game.

That actually was just a video of him getting a block off the line and not continuing to block or look for another way to get involved in the play until the whistle blows. A good defensive coach wants 100% effort for the entire play. That may have worked good for him in college but it will not work in the NFL. I consider it mediocre.
