Hey, thanks man! Good game. Congratulations on your... new uni's... To be honest, preferred the Elway era hunting orange jerseys & the sky blue helmets with the pissed off bronco busting through the center of the D especially compared to the modern sad cyber-horse that looks alot like the Texans road uni's. The football Gods will smile upon the Broncos again someday.... Peyton may have to be separated from the equation first but high times will indeed come again to Denver.

Alex your the best! I didn’t mean on that specific play fields bails in general The play before GP runs basically same route and fields understand pre snap based on defense were he is going catches snap takes one step drop and fires a strike And clearly he makes the right pre snap read and knows were he is going on the play in question because he’s looking right at GP should be catch turn and fire but he never gets his feet set and keeps falling off I’m sure he’s feeling the rush a little I coach at the HS level other side of ball ! Between you and Derek Bell I will be an OC in know Time 😬 your football knowledge of every position is really impressive

Great video as always! One question regarding that called back 51 yard pass: wasn't that a hip drop tackle that should have been flagged as well? With offsetting penalties the play would have counted?

Alex I'd like your thoughts on this. As good as Pickens is we're already seeing what many of us knew and that's the lack of a legit #2 hurting this offense. Jefferson and CA3 cannot get open, All the hogwash about "Smith doesn't need a #2 in his offense" is just nonsense. Do people really think this offense wouldn't be much better without another threat on the field? It would open up things for everyone else and hopefully Omar and Co. are keeping that option open.

I'm sure they're searching. But I'm not finding Pickens being limited by it much. The offense as a whole, sure.
@JW0143Ай бұрын
@@Alex_Kozora Agreed I didn't mean it was limiting Pickens but it has to have a negative effect on the offense. Thanks for the reply

What worries me more is Smith period. I heard that he's only using Pickens on 72% of snaps. Why? Not having him in almost gives away that it'll be a run. Also am I the only one who noticed that he almost only passed on 2nd downs? Either he's playing 4D chess & waiting for other teams to pick up on what he's doing so he can surprise them with his Plan Bs, Cs etc. (which is what I _thought_ he was doing week 1 when he made all the passes to the outside to avoid Bates & Simmons at S) or he still doesn't trust Fields &/or the rest of the offense. This was fine for Week 1 only because Fields looked very shaky in the preseason. But does anyone think *Jim **_Harbaugh_** isn't gonna notice little glitches in his matrix?* Here's hoping Smith is playing 4D chess.

He is looking real good! I really want to see him with Wilson at QB. Could be something special! Especially if they find a good #2. Maybe Roman can help. Those Penalties sucked so bad!! Do away with 3 of them and its not even close in the end! I hope they rest Jones and let him heal up and get his strength back and move to the Left side next season. Being the only Backup right now is not good though. Fautanu looks like the real deal on the Right side. Thanks Alex!! Who are you gonna do next?
@ricklove8588Ай бұрын
Tough block for Jones on that long throw. When the QB leaves the pocket and the OL can't see where his QB is it's not easy but you are 100% right he has to let the defender go without grabbing. A sack after that is on the QB
@Alex_KozoraАй бұрын
100% agree. Let him go. What happens, happens.

If fields throws that 2nd pass with more anticipation GP would have had room to cut up field but that's really nit picking

How could you say that call on Jones was a good call when TJ get held every rush as well as highsmith I'm tired of everyone saying Jones did hold no he got screwed every play they could call holding and they choose not to then they call tic tac and people say well it was no I can't go for that
@Alex_KozoraАй бұрын
@@MyFighter7773 TJ getting held or not has no bearing on if Jones was the right call. They are different mechanisms. Watt is ripping through off the edge on a lot of his holds, which in the rulebook is generally regarded not to be called. Jones is preventing a rusher from running to the sideline, which is going to get called most of the time

On second slant that’s a very basic throw fields needs to make if he wants to be a starter .this is Kenny all over again bailing and using his legs when you have easy move the chains passes
@Alex_KozoraАй бұрын
Disagree. This is an unblocked rusher. Not bailing on a clean pocket like Pickett. Could try to stand in there and hit it but get him just trying to escape.

Notice how your diversity of opinion DOES NOT get a heart from the content creator? In America the only diversity that is accepted is ("race"/color of skin...Something that I don't see as making folks any different from one another) NEVER opinion.. You are not allowed an inverse opinion to the herd.. The herd mentality at one time was shunned and diverse opinions were applauded... Now it is looked upon as aggressive (almost physical aggression) when it is only a simple difference of vantage/viewpoint.
