Please upload more of these videos from George! They're absolutely wonderful to watch such a master artist engaged in his craft, and they're incredibly peaceful as well. I could watch him create all day long.

This is like watching the mad genius of Vincent van gough at work. Truly an artist in every sense of his being. Good to see people like this exist .

Drying time 2 months ?
@Sean-zr7vs Жыл бұрын
@@ljd8520 probably at least that. For the paint to "cure" takes sometimes 6 months to a year.

He may even be more brilliant thN Vincent. I say that with awe, because Vincent has always been my favourite, but this man , has me in love with the paint, the painting and the painter.

A simply brilliant painter of the visible world. The handling of paint is both spectacularly skilful and sublimely beautiful. I find it odd that despite the manic nature of the surface, there is a calmness and contemplative quality to the paintings. Also, the subtleties of atmospheric tone are as perfectly considered as in anything by conventional realist artists of the past. I wish I could attempt to use oil paint with even a fraction of his confidence and abandon.

I just really like how his paintings capture the environment where he's creating ...it seems like the wind & sand & ocean spray are actually a part of/in the painting like you can almost even smell the setting hes in...I saw 2 of his pieces in LA once were mind blowing definitely my favorite artist...so DYNAMIC...I hope I'm lucky enough to see the flower painting in this video some day...WOW!!!

He paints with so much emotion. He dances and he fights with his art...I got a tear in my eye when I imagined another artist of our time, "Robin Williams" in another great role playing the life of this great artist.

What an inspiration; for young, and, particularly, for the old! A joy to wach the process and the final result…he makes it look so smooth and easy; those who tried and are doing it, know very well; how much talent, practice, and, above all, the work and effort goes into it! May God provide the time and energy to this great Artist!!!!

how do his paintings dry? how can he transport them without messing up the strokes? what does he do with the nail holes?

These are the questions a genius does not ask himself, but resolves them in passing. One must concentrate on the Flux of creativity, they are short lived moments, all else is sedimentary.

@jimreid9674 Жыл бұрын
No, but goodness knows how long it takes to dry. A year?
@MM-fb9fi Жыл бұрын
@@jimreid9674 Over time it does crack and the permanence in general is limited. It will take decades to dry and it will crack. Most pigments are toxic and the fact he has made it to 80 is surprising.
