I have noticed that your roof truses dosnt have the bottom stabalizer meeting the walls 2:47 is that legal (code wise)? Just asking ? Is that to give more hieght ? Our structure is going to be 2x6 wood...I wont tell you how much this is costing us...lol being in Canada with our outrageuos wood prices..but its what we want! How come all the trusses/framing look the same in a given size between building suppliers? Is the design shared among manufacturers, or is there one manufacturer making all the trusses? I noticed the trusses get a lot beefier when going over 30 feet (to 32 feet, for example).

A lot of states have very similar truss designs on smaller buildings due to cost effectiveness and codes being fairly the same. For instance this truss is great for about 80% of the USA.

Yes we service Maine, but Maine requires thicker framework, higher snow loads and things not standard on a regular building. We can do it though. Just needs to be engineered

Bought this same building from these guys, except with 2- 10x12 door openings. Had a local company install 2 doors with overhead openers. Happy with the outcome, however make sure you get a satisfactory delivery/installation date before you sign. I bought during the plandemic and took forever to deliver/install.

Does this building require footings? I have a concrete pad thats 35'10" wide with no footings, previous owner built it for a basketball court.

Many times an old pad needs an inspection. Making sure it is square and level and how thick it is. This building would require a minimum 4” monolithic pad. Depending on codes it could require a footer if needed.
