George's S52 Swapped E30 | God's Chariot

Last year I was driving home with a bunch of friends when in my neighborhood I hear a district roar of a BMW inline 6. I sped up to see what it was. I had to flag down the owner to check it out. This is when I first met George and his E30. Despite him thinking he was about to get jumped he showed us inside and out of his incredibly clean S52 swapped E30. I was amazed to see this 20+ year old original paint still in such good condition in the harsh Florida sun. As I sat back and took it all in, it reminded what I loved about these cars. Simplistic and raw, not the heavy computer controlled behemoths BMW makes today.
It was perfection.
And without further ado, I present you this short film of George's E30.

+Bsaint Europe didn't use the S52B32. That was only found in '96-'99 North American spec e36 M3. Europe had the S50B30 (286 bhp) and S50B32 (316 bhp).

m tech Nik That would depend on the standard used to rate the engine. The S50B32 produced 316 bhp or 321 PS, depending on who rated it. Another example of this is the '72 2002tii I had. It was rated at 147 bhp by the SAE standard in effect when it was made but was rated at 130 PS in Europe, even though there was no difference between the engines. Two years later, the same engine was rated according to SAE standard as having 125 hp but the SAE standard had changed from measuring gross horsepower to net horsepower.

+Hamid S the car's S52 swapped man, unless he gets a custom mod on the ecu, the check engine wont disappear because its missing a lot of sensors.
