This detailed explanation of a MOOC course has been very helpful. I have "dabbled""in participating in some MOOCs, but I think that I didn't understand the concept behind them. I am now lurking in the 15th week of a MOOC called Change: Education, Learning and Technology and have a better idea of how to navigate the chaos. Thanks!

very, very important discussion.... George shows the path from constructivist to connectivist learning environments. Wish the interviewer didn't focus the conversation on specific technologies. George's insight to the theoretical and pedagogical considerations for "content as the conduit" to learning connections is most important and technologies can always be explored and selected to optimize the constructivist and connectivist learning environments...

I am so excited to be living in a time of obvious infinite possibilities! THANK YOU for bringing this concept to the table.Or shall i say internet ! I truly believe\agree that by collaborating it maximizes the creativity,productivity,sustainability....., thus turning the ME into WE ! We are all already connected energetically(everything for that matter)(No pun intended!),This is a living breathing verification. LET'S MOOC !

It appears the success of your MOOCs is by encouraging individual learning spaces. An aggregation tool such as Grasshopper has to be the reason for the emergence of MOOCs as without it the ability to acknowledge a 'distributed social network wouldn't be possible.Really excited to think about hosting a MOOC within the sector of Adult and Community Learning (Adults) in the UK where facilitating online courses has always been impeded due to our lack of investment in learning technologies.
