George Strait is the real deal. He’s a veteran and 100% authentic cowboy. He and his son still compete in rodeos in the Team Roper events. He has recorded in Nashville, but he’s always lived in Texas on his ranch. He is known as King George and rightly so. 🤟 🐴 🤠

Amarillo By Morning is classic George Strait. There are two videos to this song on KZbin: one from the early 80s and one from the early 2000s. The original video from the 80s the sound quality is not great. Look at the version: Live at the Alamodome in the early 2000s.

This is the first time I’ve seen this video, so I don’t know if this is what the story is telling, but when I saw her driving into Las Vegas, I assume she was there for divorce. The city was famous for a quick divorce back in the day. I only know George’s hits, I don’t know all of his songs; if they played it on the radio then I probably know it, but that’s my only exposure to him.
