George Strait seems like a truly genuine person. He does a full range of songs deeply meaningful through to fun catchy ones. This is one of the bigger radio hits that's for sure. He's kept more traditional country alive.

Someone once asked me, what is so special about George Strait. Easy, most consistant man in my life (excluding brothers) for close to 40 years who has never let me down. He just gets up there and sings. First time I saw him in concert was about 1986 and I have lost count after that. A class act and a classy man.

George Strait is one of the best singers i've ever heard! My youngest daughter and i attended George's team roping contest in Texas where he and his son, Bubba, participated. We have also been to several of his concerts and had the joy of meeting him. He is humble and so nice! This subscriber thanks you for your reaction and kind words to George Strait.

George Strait is a beatiful person in every way possible. He has always remained humble despite his enormous success and wealth. He weathered one of the worst things a parent can ever experience when his teenage daughter died in an accident. He faced it with grace and came back strong. I have the utmost respect for him and always will.

He is truly a Texas treasure and the king of country. I have seen him twice and every single experience was like the first time. And yes he sounds exactly the way he does on his albums and CDs. I have been a fan of his since I was 16 years old and I'm 56 now. I do have friends who went to college in the town that he lived in and they all said that he is just one of the people in the community. He's kind and nobody bothers him. He is my favorite country singer.

After following his career since his first hit in 1982 you expect a great song with each release and he never disappoints, you kind of expect that from him. But every now and then you can stand back and realize, Damn that boy can sing. I met him once in a personal setting with just him his bus driver and my friend, wound up in a conversation that lasted almost an hour, and he is as gracious, friendly and approachable as he seems. One of the best moments of my life.

You continue to play some of the best out there. Thanks. I have to ask a question about army life. Do you still have Compo-Pacs? During Desert Storm the Brit soldiers would trade an entire pac for one MRE, pork in spiced sauce. (BBQ) I still hear the remarks. "Bloody good mate". Best to you. Mark
