So refreshing to hear George talk about his exceptional life rather than the same old stuff about Star Trek.

A GREAT American storyteller and a HORRIBLE experience. Sometimes I wish America would teach us our true History, mistakes and all. The mistakes are filled in gold because that is how we learn.

"...soon we will have the first woman president..." Such painful hindsight of what really went down. But now having a woman vice president first was probably the needed stepping stone.

Its sad all around the globe all the horrific history, all the red all our countries and territories have in our ledger. Its incredible we survived as a species. Thank god for Uncle George for all his bravery and fortitude, to share with us his talents on and off stage. Bless him, his family and all people suffering then and now under oppression, wherever they may be. May God give all our leaders a care and wisdom to bring a common peace to the world, to end pain and suffering and support the struggling in there needs and wants, to destroy the wickedness in peoples hearts and prevent them from taking advantage of the weak and oppressed.

How can anyone hate on this mans life, or be anything but sympathetic towards anyone who has gone through injustice? He and his parents obviously proud to be Americans send us a warning from history to fight ignorance and not each other. This is true of all countries, but I guess there will always be fools who hate first without thought or provocation because they are raised in ignorance and intolerance. Peace 👍

What I've never understood about the Takei's family race based interment, is that George strongly supports the same political party that put his family in that concentration camp. Maybe because in Hollywood, if you don't support that political party, then you can't work. So basically your always under threat of having your lively-hood taken away from you by that same political party. So you never really get out of the concentration camp. The decor is just better, but watch what you say.

A fact based debate would be interesting. Most dangerous thing on the left is, Pack the supreme count with, of course, far-left members so that none of your constitutional rights would be worth the paper they're printed on. Lets start with the first two. Free speech and press. Some of the left have said that press outlets that they don't like should be shut down. The libs thru the FBI paid Twitter millions of our tax dollars to cancel the speech that was truthful because it showed the lies of the left. Right to bear arms is there so the people can overthrow a tyrannical government. Which the libs know is them. Two examples of treason as well. but with two standards of justice, libs skate free. I await your two examples of dangerous from the right.

George Takei's story about soldiers banging on his front door is obvioulsy some kind of embellishment. There was no home pick up service to the assembly centers by the military. It makes for a great story though.

He always feels sorry for himself , always about him , slagging off his Co Stars , because he thought they had better rolls than him , There must of been SOME Patriotic support for Japan from the people living in the USA during the second World War , like there were for Germany ( i do not agree with interment Camps ) He is a very jealous & acidic man , life is too short & you must move on & forgive , or risk been a very unhappy person for your remaining years !
