That kind of guitar blues-based rock and roll is timeless as far as I'm concerned. Thorogood embodies those roots and he's also got a really cool first name.

Many years ago, I was playing a video game, Robocop VS Terminator." My best friend and I could not beat this one level. No matter how we tried, we couldn't even get half through. One night after work, I brought home the "Haircut" album. We put it in and turned it up while we tried yet again to best this game. Killers bluze came on just as the level we had so much trouble with started. The timing of the song and that game. We walked through that level with ease. Love that song!! Man, those were good memories with Mr. Thorogood handling the background music.

I just saw George last night at the South Shore Music Circus for the second time.....He is still rockin at 73

Haven't missed a tour since 86. Definitely slowed down a bit but the sound is great and the Destroyers are legendary. 50 yrs a band in 2023!! Played with Muddy, Howling Wolf, Hound Dog Taylor, John Lee. All the greats. Live Aid too. Fav song is Steady Rollin Man( Robert Johnson cover)

George and the Band peaked in the 80's and 90's. I'm sure they still put on a great show today, but those days, seeing them live was something special!

I am 36 born in 86. I grew up on all of the songs that you mentioned. Never really thought about it too much, but as a guitar player myself, now after hearing George’s words I feel like I should get at it. Great vid! I will sub!

Got to see Thorogood at the IL state fair in 1991. Took my then 16 year old son with me and bought him a tee shirt. Fast forward 10 years and he was back at the fair again. This time my son took me and bought me a tee shirt...and a beer. Still have the tee shirt.

I'm really glad I clicked on this one! For as long as I've known about George and loved his work, I somehow have been under the mistaken impression that Bad To The Bone was written by someone else - like maybe Muddy Waters. In fact, I have often asked if George ever wrote a song, but no one has ever set me straight until now. Not that it ever diminished George at all in my mind; it just seemed curious and rather fascinating to me. Anyway, many thanks to River Docs for answering my question and clearing up my confusion concerning the storied career of the mighty George Thorogood! You just gained one more sub..........

Saw George twice and be prepared to jump and shout. In 2004 it saw GT and the Fabulous Thunderbirds which He joined on stage. then Mr. BB King closed the show in Cleveland Ohio. What a Nite …
