I have just bought the e60 54 plate 5 series.. it has the small screen. I would to know how to upgrade it to the big one and also if you could do these coding for me ?? Would be appreciated if you reply thanks mate

Is cool how many features some cars have which manufacturers might leave out. I think you should of coded in the indicator bulbs to be on constant. Thank Dean also

Does your car run adblue? I noticed in the menu the fuel type was listed as diesel with urea, not just diesel.

No mate, probably just a generic setting. Ad blue only started being used in BMWs in 2015 👍🏻

How to code mp3 on e60 pre lci?

This is a great video George, and some good advice from the BMW Doctor - I do however, have a quick question regarding coding... I have recently changed out my screen in the E60 to an Android one from China, and do have a few issues with it, but as a result of installing it... it takes over the Bluetooth system in the car, and therefore disables the SOS System in the E60 and causes and error whenever I start the car, SOS Malfunction or of some description. I have spoken to BMW and they say they can code it out but it will return immediately, you would think I would trust they judgement on this, but seeing this video, I believe something can be deleted to stop it being checked, because the car is a 2005, so I am not going to be pressing the SOS Button, as I don't have a subscription. Any ideas... I cannot recall the Module it sits in, but I do recall it cannot be easily accessed with a standard cable. Any help from you, the Doctor, or your audience would be greatly appreciated.

I’m sure it can be 100% coded in to cause no errors. You don’t need an subscription for SOS, it just sends your coordinates to the police if you’re in trouble. Send dean an email and he may be able to help you mate👍🏻
