Gerrard was brilliant but even the Liverpool team he played in in the 2000s at least had some other top class players like Alonso and Torres. Most of Liverpool's team when Suarez was there was Europa League level aside from Gerrard and Sturridge (when he was fit), and he still scored 31 goals in a league season where he missed the first five games.

@@bob7990 yep, sure did and he had his moments, however, ironically in pivotal game that would've won Liverpool first title in years? Gerrard tried to take over the game and forgot about Suarez. It cost Liverpool a title. Gerrard issue throughout his career? He struggled to play within himself. It is why Souness was a better leader and player. Souness sacrificed his game for his club and rarely if ever made some of the monumental mistakes Stevie G did. Souness would play the sure ball, Gerrard was always trying Hollywood passes even when it wasn't the time to do so. I will never forgive Gerrard for that Chelsea game. Souness in same spot would've given ball to Suarez at every opportunity.

Wtf are you talking about. Ronaldo and Messi both should not have half their balloon d ors. Ronaldo only ever deserved 2 and Messi max 4. The rest were all due to shirt sales and Barca/Madrid FIFA/UEFA marketing. All about money and brand nothing else. FFS Ronaldo was a ghost in 4 of his 6 CL finals and only scored from open play in 2 of them. He was heavily criticised at the time for his performances in big matches. Messi had similar story be it less frequently he would be poor in big matches. There were 50% if not more years where they came 2nd and 3rd where they both were not in the Top 5 players that year. Everybody at the time agreed this and was majority fans opinion outside of Barcelona and Madrid fans. It’s just criminal that the stats will give young people whom never watched them properly in their “prime” truly what that period was like and whom the best players in the world really were.

How many games he play in prem? Quite possibly the best season or 2 by a player in the Premier league ever. That good. Ronaldo also had a beast season but suarez always massively underrated. He's better than lewandowski and benzema. He went to barca did awesome there but the best part is leaving barca for athletico and carrying them to la liga title. He won the league back to back with different teams. May have even got the golden Boot on both occasions maybe don't quote me but lewandowski and benzema have not done it like suarez in different teams and leagues.

Some clips here that really show how Suarez is one of the greatest strikers of all time. His all round game is just unmatched. Some great clips here that really take me back to his Liverpool days, that not many people will show.
