He's funny and Intelligent like Jeff Lynne. He is Canadian. I had never heard of him. Of all the greatest ones, who hasn't worked with Jeff at some point? Of course there are many, and that doesn't mean that they could or would not have done so. Freddy Mercury and Queen comes to mind, and Pink Floyd (I think Syd Barrett could have been like Jeff if he hadn't become erratic from drug use - I don't believe he was mentally ill al many claim.) Elvis perhaps? And Concert for George gave us Prince and Clapton (and probably others I can't recall atm) on the stage with Jeff. He has also worked with some of the "old guard" like Del Shannon and Orbison. Marc Bolan was on ELO's third album. The Who maybe? Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin...?

Yes, I got the DVD for my Birthday back when it came out. I also downloaded the file. Seems like DVD's are be becoming a thing of the past! My favorite Concert is... from August 1971, " *The Concert for Bangladesh* ! I never get tired of it. And I have all the songs on both my computer at home & work! ELO has had their own sound, very special orchestration and tremendous harmonies. Of course, the Beatles commercially are the best ever but musically and in live concerts i always much-preferred ELO. The Beatles were a studio band under the brilliant direction of George Martin. Jeff Lynne has done almost everything all by himself. Amazing Music Genius. The Beatles and ELO are my favorite bands of all time. Just my taste as a musician. Nothing more.

Unfortunately no one ever heard the Beatles live property and although I doubt Jeff Lynne wouldn't resort to using pro tools live he does have access to modern equipment that said I agree he and his pal Roy wood are fantastic in their own right

i mean it's pretty hard to be the best at live performances when your audience is so loud they can't hear you and you can't hear yourself. That's why they stoped touring, they hated it because they didn't think they were up to their own standards up there.
