All the best progressive rock groups were full of skilled female musicians. Or just this one, rather. Not as much ego tripping and more artistry when you have less dicks on stage.

I mention Gentle Giant because those band members were also multi-instrumentalists & I mention (Larks Tongues era) King Crimson because they likewise played astonishing improv as well as well rehearsed rock tunes which ran the gamut from sublime to thunderous. Henry Cow enjoyed rare company & esteemed musical colleagues.

ROCK music is based on REPETITION (aka Sex, which is what the term "rock and roll" meant!) (rock and rolling in bed)... and is the OPPOSITE of classical or jazz in that regard. And just like you can't "get" a Symphony on the first (or 20th) listen (because there's TOO MUCH going on, vs Simply Pop Songs).... Henry Cow is like that. If you were to listen to this video 15 times, you'd fall in love with it. (The main problem is that most of us, listening to it once, think it's just discordant and aimless. But that's not accurate.)

Ya need to listen to a symphony over and over to digest it all, unlike pop or rock music, which is simple and immediately understandable.)
