Oh my gosh! The movie “ last Christmas” had a special meaning,in the end. I am 76 this year so you would think I’m to old to love George! Now please don’t get me wrong! I have a wonderful husband who i love in a different way. I believe we came hear( this earth) to learn and grow as a spirit/ consciousness, George certainly played his role to wake up many people, there is more to life than we realise. I still can't accept the idea that George Michael is dead. Five years have passed and I still hear the voice on the news that informed us of his death. I'm still in shock. I have been listening to his songs since I was 12, now I'm 50. They have been the soundtrack of my whole life, in the best moments and in the saddest ones. I loved him and I love his extraordinary voice, his creativity, sensitivity, aesthetic taste, sonority. I miss him, I miss everything about him, I hear his songs every day and his extraordinary voice and I expect that who knows ... He can look at us from up there. George forever !!! ❤️

it was one of the last songs that he wrote , that we know of , but his last release was This is how we want you to get high in 2019 for the movie Last Christmas. from what i understand, he wrote the song much earlier but never released it . it just seems so unfair that he had to pass away so soon, but i guess his work was finished , i remember in an interview he did he had said that he hoped he would drop dead creating music but unfortunately after his coma in 2011 it seems he started having panic attacks and just couldn't perform live anymore , he had to cancel the remaining tour dates in Australia for his Symphonica tour . i suppose that is why they said he was such a recluse before he died .

George Michael (IMO) had one of the best voices in pop music - and was an amazing songwriter. His music and song writing after his public embarrassment in LA only got better and better. He became all the better for it. 3 years now after his death, his music is still wonderful - on many different levels. Maybe not for everyone, but for those with appreciation for good music and thoughtful lyrics, he'll remain relevant for a very long time beyond 2020.
