I was born in 1990. The Older album marked my childhood. I'll never thank enough my mother, she introduced me to George's music. After his death, my mother passed away three years later. This was so ahead of it's time! I remember watching this video in 2006 when I was 20 and pregnant with my now 17 yr old daughter! December 25, 2016...I was in San Francisco for the holiday and awoke to a text from one of my best friends telling me that George Michael had died. I felt a chill from within myself, but couldn’t stay in bed. I sat by the window, and as I peered out at the gloominess of the San Francisco Bay morning, I thought of how his music had been such a distinct aspect in my life. His music was there whenever times were happy and light as well as dark and lonely. I said a quiet thank you for all he gave of his life, and I wished him peace. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but when people ask which celebrity death hit me the hardest, it was George Michael hands down.

I've been mourning George ever since his death; then I was told I had cancer 2 1/2 months ago. I had a 30% chance to live. George got me thru the 3 surgery. I watched George and wham videos. George I think saved my life. love yo George!
