I have some very fond, emotional memories of my own, when two specific George Michael songs came on the radio during my "tween" years during the late 80's and early 90's. Looking back, George Michael was the soundtrack of my formative years, and I came to judge all other music against the impeccable standards he set. I find it so touching that others look back on magical experiences of their own, with George Michael's songs providing the backdrop. His music changed the lives of so many, across multiple generations. Thank you for sharing!

Too bad then it was a plagiat - the "da da da da da da da" feature was copied stroke for stroke from David Bowie's 1984 "This Is Not America". I was AMAZED that George Michael would degrade himself to such low a standard. I you don't believe me, listen for yourself: KZbin video ID=nsMUxdZGgWI

@@henrikhansen1023 🤣😂😅 There is a difference between plagiarism and a resemblance to another song... But in this case there is so little resemblance that it is useless to mention it. *** With the song Amazing, George 🕺Michael is not the one degrading.

@@JL-vs6on I totally disagree ! The moment I heard "Amazing" all that I could think of was in which song I had heard the "dadadadada" thing before.... ....but of course if you are a hard core George Michael fan of course it will be impossible to convince you - especially since you have probably never heard the David Bowie song before. I respect George Michael's work, though a lot if it was too smooth and sugar coated for my taste. Hell, the easiest thing for a musician is to chant the buzz word "Yeah".... ....but with him it came out all wrong and flimsy

I've been mourning George ever since his death; then I was told I had cancer 2 1/2 months ago. I had a 30% chance to live. George got me thru the 3 surgery. I watched George and wham videos. George I think saved my life. love yo George!

I agree. The press had a huge downer on George and Andrew in their Wham! days cos they wouldn't play the press's game - which is how come there are all the horrible stories about Andrew being a hanger on, etc, and when it became obvious to the moronic journalists that George was the best songwriter ever they were really grudging about it as they couldn't bear to admit they'd been wrong. It's very bad that one group of talentless idiots could have such power. That's at least one good thing about social media, that we can hear the truth about people.

Here we go again. A council of idiots who know nothing about modern music is here. Stop basing your opinions of music based on the shit played on radios. There's better music made today than ever in history, you idiots are just too incompetent to find it. Wait for 30 years again until those of us who are intelligent filter the good music for you, so you'll be able to listen to the good songs and claim how good music in 2019 was and how much it sucks in 2049.

That living soul left to his relatives and friends his mortal dirty, corrupted body to put it underground but he, that immortal, eternal soul, himself, is already in his new mother's womb who knows where in this whole world (in short, there where that soul has the karmic debts which remain!) and he is growing there and is waiting to be born again, for about 8 and a half months. The benefactor souls hope that Satan will leave that soul alone, in these our last 20 years before the final destruction of this old world! For the human souls to be able to face all the fearsome scenes at the end, they should consider themselves to be already body-less souls, the star-like points of light, this corrupted body has to be forgotten, and they should remember no one but the One Purifier Father, God Shiva, in His eternal Form of the Point of Light. All the sins and vices of the souls are dispelled in that easy remembrance. Otherwise, there will have to be the bitterest punishment for them. brahmakumaris.org pmtv.in

December 25, 2016...I was in San Francisco for the holiday and awoke to a text from one of my best friends telling me that George Michael had died. I felt a chill from within myself, but couldn’t stay in bed. I sat by the window, and as I peered out at the gloominess of the San Francisco Bay morning, I thought of how his music had been such a distinct aspect in my life. His music was there whenever times were happy and light as well as dark and lonely. I said a quiet thank you for all he gave of his life, and I wished him peace. I never had the opportunity to meet him in person, but when people ask which celebrity death hit me the hardest, it was George Michael hands down.
