I think quackity said have fun with your powers, so he turned his sleeping into lore. He dreams and then wakes up but whatever he gets from the so called dream, he gets to keep. I'm honestly pretty disappointed that george doesn't really like being part of the lore/scripted stuff. He has the potential to be such an interesting and fun character! Personally i love the idea of him being c!dream's evil bf *cough* i mean parter in crime, and have been head-canoning that for a while now, and your vid gives some great background and possibilities for it. Tbh I would've been too lazy to go back and put together a list of stuff that supports my headcanon. it would be really cool if he was going to be involved somehow in breaking him out of prison or something. But alas, george is george, so we all just have to pretend since he's not going to do any more lore or show up for big scripted events. 🥲 He's annoying but we all love him desperately anyway.

It’s the fact that like GeorgeNotFound could be the biggest player in the story at this point if he just liked being in the roleplay more, not that I’m the kind of person to Wanna pressure anyone into doing something they don’t want to. Like there’s a very clear divide between Sapnaps friendship with Dream and George’s friendship with Dream, in the SMP lore not in real life obviously. All of this is based on their SMP characters not real life obviously. Sapnap follows Dream into almost every battle, despite the fact that he often gets in trouble with Dream for his actions. Even after Dream reveals that he doesn’t care about anything during Tommy’s exile, Sapnap still almost doing fight against him during Dooms Day, saying that he’s his best friend. It’s in a lot of ways, a toxic relation ship (in the SMP lore). Whereas, George and Dream seem to have the same level of respect for each other. Yes, George tends to blindly follow Dream but George could probably also get away with murder. And even though Dream claims to not care about anything there is constant pressure and speculation from his fellow SMP members that he still cares about George. Maybe I’m reading into it too much but I am currently writing out a Dream SMP Cartoon/TV show and I’m having a really fun time fleshing out these two characters who at the current time are very unexplored (which is fine cause like more fun for me). I really enjoy your idea that even though George comes off as the kind of ditzy one of the group, he is actually just looking out for himself and his own self-preservation.

some of these things make sense now with george's last broadcast. Perhaps, they are taking advantage of the absence of george in the lore to give an argument to the character and at the same time show us, as you say, his true self. I think he will be a character with a lot of impact since he has a lot to do with Dream (the character) and everyone related to him ends up affected in a great way. On top of that, George was Dream's best friend and the theory that Dream protects him through DreamXD makes sense now. The character has a lot of potential

this theory has so much potential, the fact that the majority of the people watching this video are skeptical and truly believe that George just doesn't care enough to be involved in the storyline, and everyone assuming that lack of participation in big events is because it's been made into a running gag as a coverup to his actual disregard of the roleplay would have made the plot twist so unexpected that it would have been genuinely surprising to some. sadly I actually believe that he just isn't as interested or committed to the whole idea of roleplay so I can only wish. my opinion please don't attack me :p I've been suspecting something like this for a long time now ever since the stream of when he was building a house and brushing off everyone's attempt to inform him of the on-going war but that's because I was more into the idea for a fanfiction i could write lmao.

I feel like George actually was the bad person. Not just a bad person but he was smart with what he did he made sure he chose the side that looked like they were going to win,looked like they were giving him more opportunities to power and like they were giving him freedom,he didn’t involve himself in war because that can cause him to lose a cannon life. He always made sure to be behind someone because if he was behind someone he wouldn’t be the first to die. He always made sure to stay far away from war even when sometimes war was caused by him or was something around him. He was slowly manipulating everyone to think that he was powerless and not a dangerous person. But actually he was just staying safe he knew how things will end and how they might affect him. He played smarter. Dream did so much to Tommy because he burn down George’s house when George fix it in a matter of secs. George didn’t go to the elections because he knew that no matter what all sides were doom. He was not going to get the power he wanted all George wants is power. That’s why when he was taken off the throne he stayed with quacktiy because he knew that’s the only way he was going to get power he was not gonna get it dream. Now he has a God on his side ( dreamXD ) what will he do,what will he ask him to do. Till this day I think no one sees how powerful George is he plays smarter not harder

A lot of people count Technoblade killing George to be a canon death, because it could possibly effect how much Dream sees Technoblade as a future threat. Since the Greater Dream SMP is technically a monarchy, Dream could see Techno as a threat to the faction, and attempt to control him like he did with Tommy

I also have to point out something revolving around George.. In tales of the smp (Lost city of Mizu) it takes place in the future. The history is mixed up so everything is backwards. In one of the books it says George gets killed by Eret who was an evil dictator or something like that. Which means (since the history is backwards) George will kill Eret apparently.. I agree George doesn't seem who he seems to be.

He's got the power to gain awes and it's a big thing actually because when everyone likes you and sees you as a genuine one they will fight for you. And George uses that, He'd assert dominance in his own way and plays his parts very wisely he's like that virus that you can't remove because it's really not to be found.
