@@cassandravaldez9902 the dreamsmp has a script, history and plot to it, after tommy joined and started something, it started to turn into roleplay, the dsmp streamers started to play characters, birthing stories like the disc saga, the egg, l'manburg, tommy's exile, ranboo and etc. All of that captivated viewers so they kept expanding
