Kinda, yes but they only responded to Wilbur because he gave off good vibes and he can completely open-minded and nice and calm to all the spirts. And thats the only specific reasons why ghosts only responded to will. If you stay very respectful and calm towards spirts and know more than most people, then that would most likely be the case. And or just easier for communication. And spirts can often tell that from them too.

I honestly think wilbur would be a very good paranormal investigator. He is extremely smart when it comes to investigating. He is respectful with the spirits / ghosts which can lead to him getting more activity from them and give him less chance of being harmed and he always looks for a logical explanation before connecting it to something paranormal instead of just instantly saying it was a ghost. I think looking for logical answers is a vital part of paranormal investigating because if you dont it could cause misleading reviews on haunted places and / or making them out to be more active locations then they are. I also think sam and colby should take notes on wilburs investigating tactics because although they are good ghost hunters they could learn alot on how to stay out off trouble with the ghosts. Im not trying to hate on sam and colby in any way I truly think they are very good at what they do I just think there is always room for improvement when it comes to doing things like this.

I would genuinely love to watch Wilbur be part of more of these. I love the fact he’s a sceptic and tries to prove that things aren’t paranormal. Because every time he can’t find a solution, I feel as though it gives better evidence than EMF just going off. Because it could be dozens of different things setting it off. And it seems that Wilbur believes that too, because if he wasn’t at least a bit scared or had less than an ounce of common sense in him, he wouldn’t be so respectful. When I think through it all, I don’t think the ghost was scared of them, I think it was scared of them being there and what could happen to them. There were 14 at the end, and earlier one mentioned murder and taking them. I think they were actually in danger here, and that spirit followed them to protect them. One spirit was a guard and wanted to hurt them, but the other was a prisoner who wanted them to leave for their own safety. It told them the escape plan, I think this was probably one of the ones who escaped, but came back after death to protect the people who work and visit. At the end when asked why they were there, they said God. It could be possible, that they got asked to protect this place.

I just loved Wilbur in this so much, because even though he went into this as a 2 out of 10 sceptic, he was reacting so rationally to every piece of evidence they were capturing, and admitted that he can't explain what was happening. The things that he said later about how the more he thinks about it the more he feels like his mind was playing tricks on him aren't surprising to me, because even for someone like me, who is way more open to the idea of paranormal things being real by default than he is, every time something unexplainable happens around me, I replay the scene in my head over and over again, and even though I have not a shadow of doubt in my mind that ghosts exist, I question the things that happen around me. Also shoutout to him making everyone else look TINY for one hour straight.
