The best review on this product that ive seen. got one from Amazon the other day £127 and added a 3 year warranty for £9. In comparison, the equivalent one the garage lent me the other day (noco GB150) was a massive £300. Breakdown guy said to get the 3000. No more jump leads. No more relying on a stranger or a family member to show. Fabulous. Great for camping, sports events when you need outside lights or a charger. Probably runs entertainment gear as well. Cold of used one of these years ago when i had a Sunday market stall.

Good bit of kit George , my mate came to me when my alternator failed, hooked this type of charger on,shut bonnet and drove home 5 miles away and then had to sort alternator and battery.

Just a suggestion from a bit of experience, put the disconnect on the negative cable and connect nothing directly to the battery negative. I have a camper with a disconnect and they have things connected directly to the battery (safety items) and they will drain the battery down with small parasitic draws. My tractor has a remote winch and the receiver for the winch will draw down the battery, it’s since been re-wired with a disconnect on the negative cable and all accessories put on the non battery side of the disconnect.

Just bought the JS3000, the Massey 2680 was dead this morning and the boys have hidden the mains charger. so in the trucks tool box it goes for next time. thanks for the review .

Most chargers I'm familiar with have the "feature" that has a charge indicator that won't let the machine turn on if the power level is too low. Maybe this charger "injects" a little charge into the battery to get it up to chargeable levels??

I've got a Clarke brand. I do have longer leads. I did hear about a couple of dimwit brothers from Gt Barford who blew a battery up through not disconnecting or something. Some mothers do 'ave 'em!! Great discount offer though, keep up the product tests.

Actually used it the other day to start a dead NH T7 210, my other 2000 amp booster wouldn't touch it, but the 3000amp topdon had it fired up 10 seconds after being on, I wouldn't be without one in my truck👍
