NEW HOLLAND T5 DYNAMIC COMMAND - FIRST LOOK

So although we've already seen the New Holland T5 carting wheat, this video was recorded beforehand and is my initial impressions of the tractor.

I just love those bars either side of the lift rams where you can store your linkage balls. Something so simple. 👌

It’s an ideal stockman’s tractor, and with it being a 140, you can count on it for a bit of graft in the field, a good all rounder and a good honest machine

Like the 'new' lower link stabilisers, New Holland must have had a sneaky look in my shed at my 1964 Nuffield 460 and copied them !!!!!!

Smart tractor , NH is really on to something with their new machines :) PS. The transmission on the T6020 is called Electro Command , not Dual Command. Dual Command just have one split on each gear :)

Stabilizers like that were a standard on our New Holland 6635 back in 1998 😳. Waaaay better than spinners like you said. Furthermore.. I like that T5, that gearbox sounds really comfortable.

Yes, those Stabilisers are Good, when you had the T5 for a while you get to know were to set them for each machine you hook up to.

Got those sort of stabilisers on my little Branson paddock tractor George. So simple, So practical. Better than a screw 😂😂😂 It's the little things that matter.

We have the link arm stabilisers like that on our 1999 New Holland TL80. I’ve driven a T5 105 a few times and find them very bouncy.

For comfort wise you were on about with the plough, there is a soft ride on the linkage for that. You set a max height, hit your up button and then turn off your drop speed, so over 8kph it comes active. Tbf those tyres look pretty hard

My father was talking about a T5 in pretty much this spec for yard and field work to replace a Massey with a loader and I talked him out of it thinking a T5 was too small. I was steering him towards a new Kubota. Might have to go look at the T5 again!

Really compact 140 hp loader tractor that 👍 was impressed the way it lifted the plough with ease 💪 loader had plenty power and speed as well 🙄💪 great review lookin forward to seein it at work 👍

I had to slow the front loader down over 50% loading and stacking bales, otherwise it was so fast it was constantly two seconds in front of my brain. The gearbox and grunt makes this tractor a real “comfortable” pocket rocket.

It is some machine mate, I was surprised how quick the loader is as well! You certainly need a light touch with it. It's a really torquey engine that hangs on really well, it's hard to fault 👍

@@GeorgeSaunders The control buttons on top of the dash can change your front or rear hydraulic flow rates, it was easy to do, once someone showed me 😄 The loader was a joy to use once I set it to the brain speed of a 57 year old 😄😄

I have t5120 electro command but those dynamic commands are a beautiful tractor, I bought in 2018 they weren't available then. Best of luck George, newholland are hard to beat on spec and back up pound for pound

We have a t6.180 dynamic command with loader at work. Use it for loading bales. And it pulls like a bear. We put a 24 ton dump trailer on it and she pulls.

Stabilisers like those were present on Volvo BM and International Harvester tractors, 74-series at least, back in the seventies and Valmet inherited the concept from the merger with Volvo BM tractors. So I was a bit amused by your enthusiasm for that feature, but yes, it certainly is practical and useful. Cheers! 😁 👍

It was also present on L/M/G series from Fiatagri/New Holland in the 90s, I think also the 90 series from Fiatagri (Heston for the USA market) had similar stabilizers

I think rear links have switch for suspension .it fare takes the shock out of it when working with heavier kit on the back .out case's have had it for years it's on most of the time

I love start stop on the autocommand alot once get used to it awesome box and the 6.7 litre boosted from 180hp to 268 still in the safe zone

Just shows how hydraulic pumps have improved. The t dubs is probably a little tired if it's original. T5 is a very versatile and intuitive tractor.

We have a t6.175 dynamic command, it's a brilliant tractor and far more comfortable than the t7. I wish NH put this gearbox in the t7.

Looks Like a Nice Size Tractor and Straightforward Controls etc,Back end is As you say a Lot better George How Much is One in Your Spec ? And How Much is same Size From Massey,J/D or Deutz Would be interesting to Know ? As New Holland I thought Were At the Cheaper End of Tractors with J/D and Fent etc at the Top End But These Days With Everything Upside down in the World I Would Not Know if Farmers get Good Deals on Tractors Anymore or Pay Ridiculous Amounts for a New One I Still Like to See a Farm Such as Yours Running Blue Power With the Class Combine and Dowdswell Plough thats a Set up like Massey and New holland Combine and Lempkin thats Great to Still See Carrying on with Farmers👍

I’ve been looking forward to seeing your review after seeing farmer P’s. It’s definitely a step up from the old T5 we have. The tractor it’s self is great but the ride is horrible (we’ve no loader or cab suspension) Do you know if the rear linkage can lock and has the damper setting on it?

I do think it would be very bouncy without the loader on, our 6020 is nicknamed bounce🤦‍♂️ the rear linkage does have the damper setting, but that's not to good if you've got a trailer on 😬

My case and my kubotas all have the clips for the 3 pt I thought you had them on all your tractors as well. We have 3 09s and a 12 that all have the quick clip system it should be standard for all tractors I know a green one that has a real weak 3 pt 🤣🤣
